The ASC 55 is suitable for charging battery packs 12V to 36V and 1.3Ah to 10Ah. The charger features patented "AIR COOLED" charging technology for short charging times. Keeping the battery at the correct temperature during charging speeds up the charging process at the same time helping extend the working lifetime of the battery.
The ASC 55 charger has the CAS (Cordless Alliance System) fitting. You can charge any brand of batteries with the CAS fitting in this charger. Currently the CAS fitting is now the standard for over 30 European manufacturers (and growing). CAS already includes Mafell and Metabo.
