The Perform PD1400B Bandsaw is ideal for beginners or small home workshops.
It features a strong chassis with a cast aluminium table, providing a solid, sturdy working area. The machine accommodates blades between 4.8 mm and 9.5 mm wide and offers a maximum cutting height of 80 mm, delivering excellent versatility for a variety of cutting tasks.
Driven by a reliable, quiet induction 250W motor, the PD1400B delivers a blade speed of 960 m/min. It has balanced cast alloy wheels. The top wheel is mounted in a welded steel sub frame with blade tensioning and tracking controls conveniently close. The quick tension release ensures for simple and rapid blade changes.
Bearing blade guides and a thrust bearing provide maximum blade control, ensuring improved accuracy and clean cuts.
The 300 x 300 mm table tilts to 45° , whilst the rack and pinion allows for smooth table adjustment so you can cut at different angles with ease. A mitre fence is included, allowing you to produce accurate crosscuts whilst the rip fence ensure for straight and accurate cuts.
The micro-switched doors ensure the machine automatically stops running if a door is accidentally opened, providing an extra layer of safety during use.
The 28mm dust extraction outlet allows efficient dust collection when connected to a suitable vacuum extractor, helping to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
This compact, yet versatile machine makes an excellent beginner bandsaw. It's great for cutting wood, aluminium and plastic.
