Perform Pen Turning Centres 1MT

The Perform Pen Turning Centres are essential accessories for successful pen turning. When pen turning, you would typically use a pen mandrel, where the blanks are mounted on the shaft and held in place with a nut at the tailstock end. A live centre is brought up against the end of the mandrel to support it during turning. The Perform Pen Turning Centres eliminate the need for a pen mandrel, as they clamp the pen blank and tube from either side, giving a supportive and strong base for turning.

Supplied are two centres, for the headstock and tailstock. Suited to the Perform PD205WL Woodturning Lathe.

The centres are made in Axminster, UK and have CNC level accuracy.
