Increased accuracy
Laser cut steel plates are roller tensioned then ground for increased accuracy.
Impact resistant tips
The TCT tips are brazed on using a Copper & Silver compound, this helps to make them impact resistant and less chance of them becoming detached.
Numerous sharpenings
Extra large Luxembourg Micro Grain tungsten carbide tips, CNC ground with diamond grinding wheels allowing up to 20 sharpens. A blade sharpening service is provided by all of our stores for a minimum cost.
Noise reducing
Resin filled, laser cut noise reduction slots to prevent whistling. These blades are recognised by the HSE as an invaluable method of reducing workshop noise.
Tooth configurations
Available in a number of different tooth configurations – course low tooth count for ripping work, general purpose a medium tooth count and fine high tooth count for finishing work.
Get the best of both worlds with these two Axcaliber "Premium" circular saw blades. Our Premium blades feature micro grain TCT tips and resin damped laser cut plates.
The 24T rip cut blade has Alternate Top Bevel (ATB) ground teeth, ensuring a clean, fast cut. Large gullets carry the waste away and limiters behind each tooth prevent over feeding.
The 60T fine crosscut blade features trapezoidal ground teeth, known as a Top Centre Ground or Triple Chip (TCG) tooth profile where one flat top tooth is followed by a fractionally higher trapezoidal tooth.This provides an exceptional finish on all woods or manmade boards including faced boards.
