Frequently Bought Together
This optional alloy table insert for the Axminster AW254TS table saw, has an exceptionally narrow slot for the saw blade. Designed for use with the saw blade in the vertical position only, it offers vital support when cutting thin strips, preventing material dropping down past the blade and into the machine. In addition, it helps when crosscutting.
The slot is just wide enough for the blade kerf. When fitting for the first time it may be worth setting the blade at its lowest position, fitting the insert, switching the saw on then raising the blade very slowly to its full height. Being alloy, if it catches the blade slightly there will be no damage to the blade.
