230mm Try Square, has a hardwood stock with twin brass faces and black spring steel blade. Three-brass rivet fixings ensure lasting 90° accuracy.

230mm Sliding Bevel, for anything other than 90° this quality sliding bevel has a hardwood stock, spring steel blade with brass end caps and a wing nut. The blade locks in position by means of a brass wing nut to set and transfer angles.

Mortice and Marking Gauge, another vital piece of equipment for marking parallel lines. It is made with a knurled brass thumb screw and thumb slide adjustment, the stock is hardwood with brass wear plates.

No .4 Smoothing Plane; by far the most widely used bench plane. Suitable for sizing and smoothing both hard and soft woods. The No. 4 features depth and lateral blade adjustment. It has a hardwood handle and knob for added comfort. 50mm wide blade, overall Length: 254mm.

No. 60.1/2 Block Plane; a highly useful, low angle block plane. Whether it’s a quick chamfer, cleaning end grain or trimming laminates. The 60./12 features a fully adjustable mouth for coarse or fine work, and depth and lateral adjustment. 35mm wide blade set at the low angle of 13.5°.

Note: Faithfull planes represent excellent value for money. As such they may not be quite as refined as more expensive examples. A little work sharpening the blade and maybe some minor fettling will be most rewarding.
