Use of this protection pad has several benefits. Particularly when using net style abrasives, it provides a much improved connection between your sander and the abrasive disc. The pad also minimises wear and tear on the hook and loop facing on your sander’s base, greatly extending the working life of the base.
When the interface pad eventually wears simply peel off and replace. The protection pad comes in a pack of 2, so you will immediately have a spare to hand. Diameter 125mm to fit the following Festool sanders: RO 125, ES 125, ETS 125, ETSC 125, ETS EC 125, LEX 125.
