Tite-Fix Tongue-Tite screws are the perfect choice when it comes to installing tongue and groove wooden flooring. They do a particular job and they do it particularly effectively. They are designed to be hidden, driven into the corner of the board’s tongue at an angle. These screws are slim for easy insertion; the reduced heads will not interfere with fitting the next board. Tongue-Tite screws have a unique, patented Tri-Lock™ and TS Thread form which joins together the benefits of a single and twin thread in one screw. The partial thread form ensures the screw pulls the board down firmly onto the substrate; put simply no chance of a squeaky board. A Torx drive head virtually eliminates any risk of cam-out. *Free bit in every box*.
Unlike nails or adhesives Tongue-Tite screws can be removed without damage to the boards at any point in the future.
Note: Even though a slim design, some hardwood flooring boards may require a pilot hole.
