The Axminster Workshop 3 in 1 can be a Shoulder Plane, a Bullnose Plane or a Chisel Plane.
Blade
The blade is O1 steel, offering good edge retention and comes with a 25° bevel.
Body
Fine grey cast iron body, ground, finished and polished for accuracy. Arched lever cap makes plane comfortable and easy to use. Flat sole, sides are square to the sole.
Shim
Shim between the body and shoulder piece is adjustable for fine or coarse work.
Easy change
Changing from one function to the other is simply a matter of using one or another nosepiece. Or, in the case of the Chisel Plane, by ignoring the nosepieces completely.

Changing from one function to the other is simply a matter of using one or other nosepiece or in the case of the chisel plane, by ignoring the nosepieces completely.
Our 3-in-1 is a robust plane offering three distinct functions in one precision machined package. Cast from fine grey iron, precision ground and polished to ensure accurate results. The sole is flat and the sides are square to the sole. The 28mm full width blade is micro adjustable for precise control of the depth of cut. The blade is a fraction of a smidgen wider than the body making it easier to work into a corner. The blade is O1 steel, offering excellent edge retention. It comes with a 25° bevel and will only require honing before use The polished brass, arched lever cap makes the plane comfortable and easy to use. A shim between the body and shoulder piece allows you to vary the width of the mouth for fine or coarse work.
