They can be fixed in horizontal or vertical runs of ducting. The Gates feature a clever and simple design, when you open the gate, any dust that may have been trapped between the blade and the body is released, thus preventing any problem with the blade sticking.
Blast Gates are simple and effective shut-off valves and an essential part of any dust extraction system. Generally a gate is placed in the run of ducting to each machine connected to the system.
