Eccentric woodturning is very popular among the turning community. This specialist chuck allows you to change the turning axis of your workpiece, enabling you to create a whole range of beautifully unique pieces, using spiralling and off centre design.
Easy to use
The Axminster Woodturning Eccentric Spiralling Chuck is lightweight and easy to use. It features an index plate, a pivot plate and a dovetail ring. Simply insert the offset screw at your chosen point when setting your offset position and attach the index plate, aligning the index pins.
Use with 100mm Dovetail Jaws (Type C)
The eccentric spiralling chuck fits directly on the 100mm Dovetail Jaws (Type C). This is one of the most versatile jaws and is useful for small bowls and end grain work such as boxes and goblets, suited to eccentric turning designs.
