Six prongs gives you a 50% increase in gripping power over a traditional 4-prong drive. This is a reliable and positive drive centre that transfers your lathe’s drive to the work with much improved tooth engagement. It has a 25mm diameter head, the central point projects 2mm for ease of location. With six sharp 5.5mm chisel points at 60° intervals these are highly effective for turning hard woods, softwoods and wet timber.
