Power and performance in a compact cordless tool, add in the high build quality and long service life and you have the Festool CXS 18. The power is provided by a Festool 18V battery, combined with the maintenance free brushless E-Tec motor gives you unrivalled performance (note this is a body only tool).
As with all Festool tools every aspect has been designed to ensure you have full control. The CXS 18 is designed for everyday use for light to medium screwdriving and drilling applications. The power, low weight and impressive ergonomics make drilling and fastening almost effortless. The CXS 18 will bore a 35mm hole with a Forstner bit or drive a 6 x 240mm screw into softwood.
The FastFix interface makes the CXS 18 fully compatible with the full range of Festool FastFix attachments. It comes with the CENTROTEC tool chuck, offering practically instant changing between drilling, countersinking and screwdriving bits. In addition the Basic SET includes a 10mm FastFix keyless chuck and FastFix angle attachment. Note, 1/4" hex bits can be inserted directly into the FastFix spindle for screwdriving or drilling in cramped spaces. The CXS 18 comes equipped with an LED light for working in those cramped dark corners. A practical integrated bit holder provides storage space for 1/4" hex bits, magnetically secured to prevent them falling out
