Choosing the right Fuji Spray System
Choose the right Fuji Spray System for you
When it comes to professional HVLP spray systems, Fuji Spray offers a range of high-performance options tailored to different needs. Whether you're a mobile decorator, a workshop-based woodworker, or a high-volume finisher, choosing the right system can make all the difference in your workflow and results.
In this post, we’ll break down the key differences between Fuji Spray’s four standout series - D6™, Q PLATINUM™, MINI-MITE PLATINUM™ and SEMI-PRO2 - to help you decide which Fuji Spray System fits your needs best.
D6™ Series
Designed for high-end professionals who demand power, precision and quiet operation in workshops and on-site settings.
Fuji’s most advanced HVLP system to date, the D6™ spray system features a powerful 6-stage turbine that delivers up to 11.5 PSI, making it ideal for applying high-viscosity coatings such as latex and urethane with minimal thinning.
It includes digital controls that allow users to adjust pressure settings at the push of a button, ensuring consistent and repeatable results. Designed for professional environments, the unit boasts an ultra-quiet sealed housing that significantly reduces noise. A built-in remote control allows users to power the system on or off without needing to return to the base. It also includes a retractable gun holder and advanced dual filtration for added convenience and cleaner operation. Lightweight and ergonomically designed, the D6™ is easy to carry and manoeuvre, making it a practical choice for both workshop and on-site use.
Q PLATINUM™ Series
Quiet, powerful, and reliable - ideal for noise-sensitive environments.
The Q PLATINUM™ Series from Fuji is designed for professionals who need both power and quiet operation in their spray systems. It features 4- and 5-stage turbines, with the Q5 model being particularly popular for its balance of performance and control.
What sets this series apart is its patented noise reduction technology, which significantly lowers sound levels, up to 50% quieter than standard HVLP turbines, making it ideal for use in shared or residential spaces. The system also includes a master speed control that helps reduce overspray and bounce-back, improving finish quality and material efficiency. Compact and lightweight, the Q Series is easier to transport and set up than traditional compressor-based systems, making it a reliable choice for professionals who value both performance and a quieter work environment.

MINI-MITE PLATINUM™ Series
Rugged and portable - designed for on-the-go professionals who prioritise portability.
The MINI-MITE PLATINUM™ Series is Fuji’s most compact and portable HVLP spray system, designed for professionals who need mobility without compromising on performance.
It offers 3-, 4-, and 5-stage turbine options, delivering the same core power as the Q PLATINUM™ Series but without the added noise-reduction housing. This makes it louder in operation, but significantly lighter and easier to transport, making it ideal for decorators, woodworkers, and mobile finishers who work across different locations. Despite its smaller footprint, the MINI-MITE Series maintains high-quality spray performance, making it a practical choice for those who prioritise convenience and portability over ultra-quiet operation.

SEMI PRO-2™ Series
Light-weight and robust, ideal for entry-level professionals and serious hobbyists.
The Semi‑PRO 2™ Series strikes the ideal balance between affordability, portability, and pro-level performance. Designed for furniture makers, cabinet refinishing, auto touch-ups, and home renovators, it delivers consistent, high-quality finishes on wood, metal, and more.
With a powerful 2-stage turbine, the Semi-PRO 2™ offers up to 5 PSI of atomising pressure - more than enough for lacquers, stains, enamels, and even some thinned latex paints. The included non-bleed M-Model spray gun (available in bottom or gravity feed) features adjustable fan control and a stainless-steel fluid path for durability and precision.
