Out of the Woodwork Podcast | Colwin Way
In the latest episode of Out of the Woodwork Podcast, Sean Evelegh talks to Axminster Tools’ very own woodturning professional, Colwin Way about his passion for woodturning.
What started as a hobby has now turned into a career, and has seen him demonstrate to and tutoring enthusiastic crowds around the world.
More about Colwin Way
Colwin discovered a passion for woodturning after joining a local production turner on his school work experience. And hasn’t looked back.
Woodturning has taken him all over demonstrating to and tutoring enthusiastic crowds around the world. He was able to combine his love of turning with a passion for teaching and sharing his skills when joining Axminster Tools as a tutor, more than 25 years ago.
And today he can still be found sharing this passion on YouTube, reaching thousands of people week in, week out on Woodworking Wisdom Live, the company’s own live YouTube broadcast.

I wonder what turns think of the media coverage since the explosion of Zoom and you tube during and after the pandemic? What's next and will it continue to grow. We see many adverts of lathes and tools for sale now that we can go out and about. Maybe we should post notices that say "lathes are not just for Christmas " ??
