DeWALT XR FLEXVOLT is a range of 54V cordless power tools offering unrivaled run time and performance. For the first time, professional trades can reliably undertake heavy-duty construction applications without the need for mains power.
The DCS520 XR FLEXVOLT is the first plunge saw featuring a brushless 54V motor. It is one of the most powerful cordless plunge saws available, offering the same power as an equivalent mains tool. The DCS520 is extremely accurate; supplied with a 42-tooth blade, it gives you a clean finish with minimal breakout even in laminates. The parallel plunge action results in a smooth and constant cut as the saw enters the workpiece. Variable speed allows you to select the correct speed for different types of materials, at the same time full wave electronics maintain a consistent speed under load. The 55mm depth of cut allows trimming and sizing of most common doors.
The DCS520 plunge saw is quick and easy to adjust and features a bevel cut up to 47°. When used with a DeWALT guide rail, its anti-kickback design prevents the saw from moving backwards along the rail and helps stop the saw from climbing out of the workpiece when plunge cutting. The DCS520T2 is easy to set up and adjust accurately to the guide rail. An ergonomic rubber grip gives you greater comfort and control. The DCS520 has an Airlock dust extraction port making it compatible with the range of DEWALT dust extractors. Coupling the saw to an extractor and using an enclosed guard can achieve around 90% dust extraction.
