This ratcheting band clamp is perfect for clamping square, rectangular, hexagonal, octagonal, or any irregular workpiece. They are hugely useful when it comes to repairs and restoration, especially in cases where standard clamping methods are unsuitable or impossible.
The reversible ratchet mechanism is particularly easy to operate, far less fiddly than previous band clamps. As you operate the ratchet mechanism, the 25mm x 4.5m nylon webbing applies even, constant pressure while the adhesive cures. The nylon webbing has a load limit of 450kg; the ratchet applies a working load up to 180kg.
The clamp comes with 4 easy-fit plastic corner pieces. They protect the corners of square or rectangular projects, preventing bruising, especially useful when clamping picture frames. These clamps are well worth having on hand for those occasional times you need to clamp something that is oddly shaped.
