With a maximum chip removal of 2.5 mm and a rebate depth of 25 mm, the HLC 82 offers speed and flexibility for demanding tasks. Three integrated 90° V grooves make chamfering simple and accurate, while the removable chamfer adaptor ensures perfect results on beams and square timbers. The planer features dual extraction channels and a connector that can be attached on either side, keeping the hose out of your way for uninterrupted workflow. Plus, the quick-acting brake stops the blade in under two seconds for added safety.
The HLC 82 works seamlessly with all Festool 18V battery packs (except Ergopack) and performs best with the 5.0 Ah or 8.0 Ah Li-HighPower packs for maximum runtime. It incorporates advanced features such as Bluetooth® connectivity for extractor communication, AIRSTREAM technology for faster battery cooling, and electronic overload protection for motor safety.
