This replacement aluminium oxide grinding wheel for the Axminster Workshop AW1502WSG Wide Stone Grinder will of course fit many other machines using stones with the same dimensions. White grindstones have a slightly softer bond compared to grey grinding wheels. White Aluminium Oxide grinding wheels are a preferred choice for general tool sharpening of high carbon and HSS tools. White wheels cut much cooler with far less tendency to overheat a tool’s edge. They are friable and cut freely offering a fast result and clean finish. This stone is 40mm wide, 80 grit for fast, fine results and 150mm diameter with a 12.7mm (1/2") bore.
