As part of the largest and most robust range in the Easy Wood lineup, the Pro Hollower™ #3 provides unmatched reach, leverage, and stability, making it essential for turners working on deep, enclosed, or oversized hollow forms.
Featuring a solid carbide cutter and a rigid 12.7mm × 19mm rectangular shaft, the Pro Easy Hollower™ #3 provides exceptional stiffness and reduces chatter at maximum extension—critical when shaping deep, unseen interior walls.
The 508mm straight‑grained American Hickory handle offers superior leverage, balance, and comfort during long sessions, supporting smooth, controlled cutting even in the deepest parts of a vessel.
And, as with all Easy Wood Tools, no sharpening is required—simply rotate the cutter for a fresh edge.
Engineered for deep interior shaping and final surface refinement, the Pro Easy Hollower™ #3 excels when working far from the tool rest or inside narrow openings. Its rectangular shaft provides the rigidity needed for long‑reach cutting, helping to maintain wall thickness, refine contours, and achieve smooth interior surfaces before sanding.
Used parallel to the floor at centre height, the tool remains stable on the rest and helps minimise catches and snatches, even when cutting inside invisible cavities.
Hollower #3 brings the form to its final interior finish after the waste removal of Hollower #1 and the mid‑stage shaping of Hollower #2.
All Pro hollowers use long‑lasting carbide cutters that require no sharpening and outperform HSS by a significant margin.
They can be used on dry or green wood, acrylics, and resin, and are 100% made in the USA.
